Bergen County is the most populous county out of the twenty-one counties of the state of New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, its population was 905,116, an increase of 20,998 (2.4%) from the 884,118 enumerated in the 2000 Census. The county seat and most populated city is Hackensack. The county has 246.67 square miles of area.
