Cass

Cass County is one of the 83 counties in the state of Michigan. It was created in 1829 from unorganized territory. As of the 2010 census, the population was 52,293. The county seat is Cassopolis. The county has 508.46 square miles of area.

Cass County is also a part of the South Bend-Mishawaka IN-MI metropolitan area which has a population of 317,538. The metro area is also sometimes called the Greater Michiana.
