Cass is one of the 87 counties in the state of Minnesota. It was created in 1851 from parts of Dakota, Pembina, Mankahto, and Wahnata counties. As of the 2010 census, the population was 28,567. The county seat is Walker. The county has 2,414.21 square miles of area.
