Pontotoc County, Mississippi

Pontotoc is one of the 82 counties in the state of Mississippi. It was created in 1836 from part of Monroe county. As of the 2010 census, the population was 29,957. The county seat is Pontotoc. The county has 500.99 square miles of area.
